About Edith Miller

Edith Miller is a London-based hand embroiderer whose practice favours instinctive and unconventional methods, valuing innovation without abandoning tradition. With experience in both the fashion and film industries, Edith has completed further training through the CHANEL & King’s Foundation Métiers d’art Embroidery 2026 Fellowship, in Partnership with Le19M, in Paris.

Edith is a First-Class graduate with a BA (Hons) in Hand Embroidery from The Royal School of Needlework. Here, her training equipped her with both the technical foundation and artistic freedom to explore embroidery as an art form.

During Edith’s time on The CHANEL & King’s Foundation Métiers d’art Embroidery Fellowship, she refined her hand embroidery skills to a Haute Couture standard while nurturing her own personal style.

Edith was mentored at Maison Lesage, one of Paris’s oldest embroidery ateliers, where she was given the opportunity to challenge and contextualise her hand embroidery practice.

Edith has worked for several clients in the UK and abroad, including Tamara Ralph, Erdem, HBO, and more. Through every project, Edith remains committed to pushing the boundaries of hand embroidery and collaborating across disciplines to tell powerful visual stories.
